About the role
Do you enjoy working outdoors, leading from the front and seeing the result of a job well done?
We're looking for a hands-on Works Supervisor - Mowing to coordinate and lead our mowing and open space maintenance crews across the City of Coffs Harbour. This is a practical leadership role where you'll be responsible for planning works, supervising staff, coordinating resources and ensuring our parks, reserves and public spaces are maintained to a high standard for our community and visitors.
You'll work closely with the Maintenance Coordinator to deliver daily and weekly work programs, support and mentor team members, oversee plant and equipment utilisation and help create a safe, productive and positive team environment. No two days are the same, and you'll play an important role in keeping our open spaces looking their best year-round.

About you
You're a practical leader who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved when needed. You have experience working in parks, reserves, horticulture, greenkeeping, landscape maintenance or a similar industry and know how to coordinate teams to deliver quality outcomes safely and efficiently. You communicate well with staff, contractors and members of the public, can confidently organise work programs and resources, and take pride in maintaining public spaces. You'll hold a current MR Driver Licence and White Card, and ideally have qualifications or significant experience in horticulture, greenkeeping, landscape construction or a related field.

- Competitive salary, from around $77.5K - 81.5K, depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
